The Cottage is in an ideal location for visiting South West Ireland. The colourful town of Schull with its range of traditional shops, restaurants and bars is but a few minutes drive away. Schull is full of things to do both in Summer and Winter, details of which can be found on www.schull.ie.

The towns of Skibereen and Bantry are both within 30 min's drive, as is the Mizen Peninsula, Ireland’s most south-westerly point, which is renowned worldwide for the beauty of its rugged landscape and ancient heritage. Stunning beaches, including Barleycove, with its golden sand and stretching surf, are an absolute must and can be enjoyed whatever the weather! Horse-riding, fishing, golf, diving, boat trips to Cape Clear and Sherkin Island, walks, hikes and bikes are all available nearby..

The traditional stone cottage has been carefully restored but has the facilities of modern day living. Relax in comfort whilst watching the world go by or use as a base for exploring the local area.

The Cottage offers self-catering accommodation which includes:-

• Fully fitted kitchen/diner with washer/drier.
• Shower Room with walk-in shower, wash hand basin, WC
• Sitting Room (which includes a sofa bed), Wood Pellet Stove, TV, Video, DVD player & CD player
• Large upstairs Bedroom with 5ft Double bed (single bed can also be provided)
• Large Gardens and patio area
• Plenty of parking spaces.
• For visitors with young children a travel cot, highchair, sterilising unit, bottle warmer, changing mat and can also be provided.
• A selection of DVD's and videos are available on site for a small charge.
• Price range per week: €300 to €495. Seasonal rates apply. Weekends available upon request. (A €50.00 per week charge will be levied for gas and electricity).

The Cottage at Gabriels Return is located in Glaun, near Schull, West Cork. Set in 3 acres behind Mt Gabriel.

The Cottage has stunning views of the beautiful Irish countryside and of Dunmanus Bay in the distance
